Hillcrest College continues to reinforce its commitment to globally relevant education and future-focused career guidance. In November, Mrs Grace Makambwa, Career Counsellor at Hillcrest College, represented the College at the Switzerland International Career Counsellor’s Conference hosted by the Swiss Education Group in Montreux, alongside career professionals from over 20 countries worldwide.
The conference provided direct exposure to internationally renowned institutions including the Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland, César Ritz Colleges, HIM Business School, and Swiss Hotel Management School. These institutions are recognised for excellence in hospitality, business management, entrepreneurship, and applied learning, offering strong links to industry, international internships, and global career pathways.
Through this engagement, Hillcrest College gained valuable insight into how leading global institutions prepare students through practical training, leadership development, innovation, and real-world experience. This knowledge directly enhances the College’s ability to guide pupils toward informed subject choices and competitive international opportunities.
