Dear Parents & Guardians

Herewith a few items of information and dates to diarize.

1. Meet The Class Teacher – In a drive to promote good communication channels, we propose to arrange at least hour long interface meetings to be conducted on the following dates adhering to Covid-19 protocols:

• ECD – 7^th April,                       Grade1 –  8^th April,                  Grade 2 –  9^th April,
• Grade 3 – 12^th April,                Grade  4 – 13^th April,               Grade 5 – 14^th April,
• Grade 6 – 15^th April                 Grade 7 – 16^th April.               

Please note that only one of the parents or legal guardian could attend as such meetings are limited to not more than 50 people. Teachers will share with you operational, academic issues and expectations of both parties. Meetings are scheduled to run from 11.30 to 12.30pm and may be held out of the classrooms.

2. Inter- house Cross Country 21^st April, 2021 – Every child from Grade 3 to 7 participates in their categories; Juniors, Middles and Seniors. The scenic course covers mixed terrain and partly around the school is enjoyed by all. Due to Covid-19 guidelines, NO spectators for this meeting please.
3. Cultural Night – Plans for hosting this year’s edition of Cultural Gala, an event at which Hillcrest Prep celebrates its Cultural Diversity are at an advanced stage. Watch this space for details.
4. SDC Civvies Days: Fridays 30 April and 21 May 2021. Your SDC always counts on your support to raise the much needed funds.

5. SDC Annual General Meeting (AGM): Date to be advised.
6. Open Day 7^th May 2021– Registration for the 2022 Grade 1 pupils’ opens.  Prospective parents will be accorded the opportunity to view the school and addressed by the Head between 10.30 and 12.30pm.
7. Inter-house Athletics: Field Events 26^th May & Track Events 28^th May– Sadly no spectators due to Covid 19 guidelines.
8. Termly Assessment Tests – These tests will be administered from the 10^th to 26^th of May 2021.
