We welcome our school Principal Mr Orlando Fernandes, who joined the school just after Easter. We hope you are all well, safe and healthy given the prevailing COVID-19 Pandemic. Online lessons began on the 7^th of May 2020 as was communicated by the Principal in his letter dated 3 May 2020.

This communication compliments the Principal’s letter on e-Learning in Hillcrest Schools and focuses specifically on Prep School learners/parents/guardians only. We therefore refer you to that letter for other details on Google Classroom and Zoom navigation and requirements.

Registration and trial runs on Google Classroom for Prep commenced on 30 April 2020 and are still ongoing. We have made good progress and are quite please by the support we are getting from our parents/guardians and hardworking learners. Teachers will continue to tweek and perfect the the timetables for their individual classes, communictaing  via Google Class stream tab and WhatsApp groups. They will post resources, give guidance and will be available during normal working hours. Deadlines are expected to be met. Lessons and activities will be graded according to grade level.

Teething problems may be encountered initially as a new platform, please communicate with your teacher. As we continue on this journey, changes may be implemented as we get to know more about our operations and cycles since e—learning provides us a flexible schedule.
