God blessed us giving with lovely weather to enjoy our Interhouse field events. Outstanding achievements from Takudzwa Damba who smashed a 29year long record in the Over-13 Long Jump event, held by S. Zangel of 4.81m since 1991, setting a new record of 4.9m.

He also equalled the 2014 High Jump record of 1.4m set in 2014 by T. Marufu.

At the end of the Field events competition, Kestrel had firmly planted their flag into the ground, to claim bragging rights that they were here for the title, with 89 points. In second place were Eagle & Harrier tied on 81points, whilst Falcon amassed 77points. The track events on Saturday 29 February are promising to be a cracker with Falcon House Head Ms Shirley Odendaal vowing to turn the tables and come out victorious in the end.
