The rains have been persistent throughout the week, leading to cancellation of the Hillcrest Prep quadrangular, but we have managed to carry on with the other vast number of activities.

We have been graced with the presence of Mr Martin Shepherd from Buckingham Primary Academy, who is on a week-long visit to Zimbabwe for the Connecting Classrooms initiative. We wish him a pleasant stay and hope that by the end of the week, both HPS and BPA will benefit immensely from this exchange programme.

On Tues 11 February the 4 houses, Kestrel, Harrier, Eagle and Falcon battled it out for the 2020 Interhouse Cross-country Trophy.  All children participated in the races & showed great courage as well as determination to go through the whole course. Congratulations to Eagle House  for winning this year’s competition.

The Cancer Association has declared February as Orange Month. As always, we have supported the association and will this year celebrate the International Childhood Cancer Day (Orange Day) on Friday 14 February. Everybody will “dress in orange and donate a dollar or equivalent ZWL to save life”.
